Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a senior engineer to develop embedded firmware for its next‑generation vehicle platform. You will work on production‑grade computers, integrating low‑level communication stacks and building safety‑critical real‑time applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate vendor components into a common software framework, handling CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART and other low‑level protocols.
• Design, implement and test RTOS‑based applications for real‑time embedded systems.
• Architect and write high‑quality C/C++ code for safety‑critical environments.
• Support hardware bring‑up, including board and SoC debug using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and JTAG.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to productionize custom software on new devices and maintain existing products.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing software for embedded devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in C/C++ and assembly language development.
• Hands‑on experience with RTOS, Linux and ARM‑based systems.
• Proficiency with embedded debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and JTAG.
