Senior Electronics Product Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Electronics Product Engineer to join its Military Aircraft Group in East Aurora, NY. The role supports complex aircraft electronics programs across the full product life cycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mature production, ensuring mission‑critical systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on engineering support for assigned product lines, resolving production and test issues.
• Maintain product integrity, monitor first‑pass yield (FPY), manage non‑conformances, and conduct Material Review Board (MRB) analyses.
• Identify and implement producibility and quality improvements in product design.
• Facilitate design changes by redlining drawings, attending Change Review Board (CRB) meetings, and initiating Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes.
• Create and deliver clear assembly/test work instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP/PAT), and training for operations personnel.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead special projects as required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in electronics product engineering, preferably in aerospace or military aircraft applications.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with assembly, test, and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality and cost optimization.
