Senior Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our pre‑construction team in the Southeast. The successful candidate will lead the bidding process for high‑value electrical construction projects ranging from $5M to $50M, working closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates using Accubid software.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate takeoffs.
• Develop pricing, complete bid packages, and submit competitive proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership throughout pre‑construction.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify risks, cost‑saving opportunities, and value‑engineering options.
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Proven track record bidding projects valued between $5M and $50M.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, or data‑center projects.

Required skills

• Accubid or comparable electrical estimating software.
• Electrical estimating and takeoff development.
