Senior Downstream Process Technician

About the role

The Senior Downstream Process Technician will join ProBio’s Downstream Processing group in Pennington, NJ. The role focuses on executing downstream manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment, handling equipment such as single‑use chromatography systems and tangential flow filtration units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare stock solutions and buffers, including filtration.
• Operate single‑use chromatography systems, chromatography columns, and other disposable bioprocess equipment according to written procedures.
• Perform routine microbial and mammalian purification runs.
• Monitor chromatography and tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems during processing.
• Weigh and verify raw materials, assemble process equipment, and maintain a clean‑room environment.
• Document work instructions, follow SOPs, and report any deviations to management.

Required profile

• Experience working in a regulated cGMP manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and recognize procedural deviations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean‑room practices.
