Senior Director VET Quality (Orthopaedics)

About the role

Lead the Quality organization for the VET Platform within DePuy Synthes, a global orthopaedics leader. You will have end‑to‑end accountability for new product and process quality, working closely with R&D, supply chain and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality of new products and processes from development through supply‑chain transfer.
• Lead global, cross‑functional project teams and define product and production improvement strategies.
• Provide direction and decision‑making in high‑risk, ambiguous situations and serve as the primary quality representative to platform leadership.
• Resolve cross‑functional issues, ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental practices, and communicate business and compliance matters to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 12+ years experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• 5+ years Quality Engineering experience in new product development and/or supply chain.
• Proven track record of complex decision‑making and successful market‑compliant products.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and independently.
