Senior Director, Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Senior Director, Supply Chain Management will lead Mayo Clinic’s Enterprise Logistics Distribution Network, ensuring efficient movement of supplies from source to point of use across the organization. This hybrid position combines strategic planning with hands‑on operational oversight to drive logistics excellence in a leading health‑care system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑term tactics and long‑range plans for optimal supply chain performance.
• Partner with physician, executive, and campus leaders to shape proactive supply chain strategies.
• Mentor and develop the supply chain team, aligning skills with evolving health‑care demands.
• Oversee logistics activities across Mayo Clinic sites, standardising operations and implementing automation.
• Create and maintain KPIs, enterprise standards, and best‑practice scaling.
• Manage the operating budget for the logistics area and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience in a hospital or health‑care environment.
• At least 8 years in progressively responsible supply chain management leadership roles.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale logistics networks and budgets.
