Senior Director of Apparel Production (Costco/Club Channel)

About the role

The Senior Director, Apparel Production for the Costco/Club Channel leads the end‑to‑end production lifecycle of high‑volume apparel programs. Based in New York City, this leader ensures speed, scale, accuracy and compliance across multiple categories and retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, approve final buys and manage costing models for high‑volume programs.
• Lead production for Costco, club channel, wholesale, mass‑market and private‑label accounts.
• Develop and execute production strategies aligned with business goals and seasonal launches.
• Oversee the full production calendar, ensuring deadlines are met from sourcing to delivery.
• Manage daily production activities including WIP tracking, time‑and‑action calendars, vendor follow‑up and approvals.
• Ensure Costco‑specific requirements such as testing, packaging, labeling, compliance and bulk shipment timelines are met.
• Resolve quality, technical, costing, capacity or delivery issues through high‑level troubleshooting.
• Negotiate contracts with a global network of factories and vendors, monitoring performance and capacity.
• Develop and control the annual production budget and cost‑management initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing apparel production for Costco, club channel or similar high‑volume retail programs.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing, control costs and drive profitability.
• Strong track record of leading cross‑functional teams and global vendor networks.
• Excellent understanding of compliance, testing, packaging and bulk shipment requirements.
• Experience developing and managing production budgets and calendars.
