Senior Director, Logistics (Washington)

About the role

The Senior Director for Pasha Logistics in Washington provides strategic leadership across multi‑location freight and transload operations. The role focuses on operational excellence, profitability, safety, and labor relations while driving business development and aligning with enterprise logistics strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, carriers, and key stakeholders to expand market presence.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and service expansions.
• Lead geographically dispersed logistics operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Develop and execute multi‑year operational and financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, safety, compliance, and profitability.
• Oversee labor relations, engage with union leadership, and ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
• Monitor site‑level P&L performance and report results to executive leadership.
• Implement lean principles and technology solutions to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Develop and track KPIs measuring operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies for management and frontline teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in multi‑location freight or transload operations.
• Strong track record of budget accountability and financial performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain customer, carrier, and labor relationships.
• Experience managing labor relations, including union negotiations and CBA compliance.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
