About the role

TurnerTURNER, a leading earned‑first PR and social media agency, is seeking a Senior Director to lead integrated communications and public relations for its Travel and Tourism practice. This hybrid position will be based in one of our major U.S. hubs and will involve up to 20% travel to support high‑profile destination accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that combine media relations, influencer programming, partnerships, and brand activations.
• Serve as the senior client lead, building trusted relationships and providing forward‑thinking counsel.
• Own and evolve a high‑volume, always‑on media relations program, driving proactive pitching and media engagement.
• Track, analyze, and report on media performance to ensure measurable impact.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in integrated communications or public relations, preferably within travel, tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of building long‑term relationships.
• Ability to think strategically while managing day‑to‑day execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work collaboratively in a hybrid office setting.
