Senior Director – Auto Underwriting & Policy Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director to lead market strategy and innovation for the Auto Vertical at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The role focuses on transforming underwriting and policy experiences in personal‑lines auto insurance through AI, data, and workflow redesign. The position is hybrid, based in Alpharetta, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the market strategy for auto underwriting and policy experience.
• Shape positioning around AI‑driven underwriting transformation and emerging data ecosystems.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory dynamics, and competitive shifts.
• Lead development of next‑generation underwriting and policy experience solutions.
• Translate customer insights into product roadmaps and growth opportunities.
• Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver differentiated offerings.
• Drive complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed environment and ensure measurable outcomes.
• Build relationships with senior leaders at auto insurers and act as a trusted advisor on AI adoption.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in personal‑lines auto insurance.
• Leadership experience in underwriting, product development, strategy, or innovation.
• Deep knowledge of auto underwriting workflows and the policy lifecycle.
• Critical thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly analytical and data‑driven.
• Proven track record developing and executing market or product strategies.
