Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Blossom is seeking a hands‑on, security‑focused Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own and evolve its CI/CD and release pipelines across multiple product lines. You will design fast, safe, and repeatable deployments while embedding strong security controls directly into the delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines, moving from manual, release‑window deployments to automated, repeatable ones.
• Own semantic versioning, release tagging strategy and branching models across repositories.
• Automate release notes, implement reliable rollback paths and feature‑flag mechanisms.
• Integrate security gates such as SAST, SCA, dependency scanning, secrets management and artifact signing.
• Lead vulnerability triage, set severity thresholds and ensure audit‑ready pipeline controls.
• Coach squads on pipeline practices, release hygiene and secure delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5+ years of software or platform engineering experience, including at least 3 years owning production CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building delivery pipelines from scratch in regulated financial services environments.
• Comfort working with audit and segregation‑of‑duties requirements.
• Fluent written English for collaboration with U.S. stakeholders.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or equivalent.
• Release engineering: semantic versioning, tagging, branching models, release‑notes automation, rollback, feature flags.
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code.
• Pipeline security: SAST, SCA, dependency scanning, secrets management, artifact signing, vulnerability triage.
• Cloud platforms experience.
• Familiarity with PHP.NET or Java build ecosystems.
