Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (and optionally GCP).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalents.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Ruby on Rails services, handling Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management.
• Support AI/ML features, including vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector) and integrations with major LLM providers.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong expertise with AWS services; experience with GCP is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Solid understanding of the Ruby ecosystem, especially Rails deployment and performance tuning.
