Senior Developer – Java & Python AI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to design and build secure, scalable backend services using Java and Python, and to deliver production‑grade AI agent capabilities with Google’s Agent Development Kit. You will integrate these agents with enterprise systems via the Model Context Protocol while ensuring security, observability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑scale microservices and APIs with Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST and gRPC.
• Build Python services (e.g., FastAPI) that host agent logic and AI integrations, implementing robust error handling and structured outputs.
• Create and orchestrate AI agents using Google ADK, defining tools, managing sessions, memory, and multi‑step workflows.
• Implement MCP‑based integrations, exposing internal tools as MCP servers and consuming MCP tools securely.
• Deliver LLM features, prompt engineering, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation patterns with embeddings and vector databases.
• Containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/OCP), and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Harness.
• Implement observability (logs, metrics, tracing), define SLOs/SLIs, conduct performance testing, and participate in incident response.
• Mentor engineers, perform design and code reviews, and collaborate across product, security, data, and platform teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required profile

• Strong Java backend engineering experience (Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, REST/gRPC).
• Proficient Python development with OOP, typing, async patterns, and FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/LLM integration, Google ADK, and Model Context Protocol.
• Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing observability and reliability practices.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work effectively in Agile teams.
