Senior Designer

About the role

Snap Inc is seeking a Senior Designer to shape and scale Snapchat’s visual identity across key marketing and brand touch points. As a maker‑first individual contributor, you will spend most of your time designing, exploring concepts, building systems, and crafting high‑impact visuals that align with the brand’s design system.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Snapchat’s brand design system, including typography, color, layout, and component libraries.
• Translate brand foundations into practical guidelines, templates, and examples for partners across global brand experience.
• Lead design and art direction for high‑priority projects such as B2B narratives, vertical GTMs, tentpole events (e.g., Cannes, Summits), and internal brand initiatives.
• Develop visual territories, key art, and layout systems that adapt across formats (OOH, social, email, web, presentations) while staying grounded in the Snapchat design system.
• Partner with Brand Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Global Brand Experience, Media, and Channel Marketing to turn briefs into clear visual concepts, providing strong point‑of‑view and rationale.

Required profile

• Senior‑level individual contributor with a proven track record of leading design projects end‑to‑end.
• High standard for craft and visual storytelling, able to set a clear point of view.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to guide designers, writers, motion artists, and external partners.
• Comfortable working without direct reports while influencing cross‑functional teams.
