Senior Design Manager

About the role

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead architectural and engineering design for data center projects. The role supports the full project lifecycle from site origination through operations, ensuring sustainable and efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage consultants across civil, structural, MEP, security, and controls disciplines during design and permitting.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to create cohesive building designs and address site‑specific challenges.
• Provide on‑site field support during construction, review contractor submittals, and ensure compliance with Rowan’s quality standards.
• Develop relationships with permitting agencies and identify risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field (PE or AIA required).
• 9+ years leading large‑scale commercial/industrial design projects and 5+ years overseeing construction activities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills with ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and Blue Beam Revu.
• Advanced use of MS Office Suite.
