Senior Data Scientist – Loyalty Platform

About the role

Mastercard’s Loyalty group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and operate high‑performance data platforms that power personalized card‑linked offers for millions of users. You will combine data science expertise with strong engineering skills to turn anonymized transaction data into actionable, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, validate and deploy machine‑learning models that drive personalized offers.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in distributed environments.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to evaluate model impact.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and performance across cloud‑based systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Monitor models in production and iterate based on performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Multiple years of professional experience in data science and/or data engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning libraries such as scikit‑learn.
