Senior Data Scientist

About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Data Science team. The role will help translate large‑scale data into actionable insights that drive member engagement, product strategy and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, marketing, sales, engineering, policy and operations teams to define and deliver strategic data projects.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, build machine‑learning models and conduct deep‑dive analyses to improve member value.
• Design, implement and maintain core business metrics, automated dashboards and visualisations.
• Plan, execute and analyse experiments to test product ideas and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Prototype and validate scalable tools and applications across backend, frontend and data pipelines.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a high‑performing team culture.
