Senior Data Scientist

About the role

PackageX is building the execution layer for physical AI in enterprise logistics. As a Senior Data Scientist you will partner with leadership, product, and operations to turn raw data into actionable intelligence that drives business impact. You will blend rigorous data science with creative analytical thinking to uncover hidden patterns and shape the company’s strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Mine large‑scale, complex datasets to discover hidden patterns, fee anomalies, and cross‑domain correlations that inform business decisions.
• Proactively surface extraordinary insights for leadership, operations, and partner teams before questions are asked.
• Design, train, and deploy scalable ML/DL models for NLP and predictive analytics across logistics workflows.
• Build intuitive analytics tools and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn to translate complex data into clear intelligence.
• Architect and maintain ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data models; expose data services via RESTful APIs built with Django or Flask and deploy on AWS/GCP using Docker containers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering end‑to‑end data science solutions in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.
• Strong ability to ask “why” before “how,” identify patterns early, and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven track record of building production‑ready machine‑learning systems.
• Excellent storytelling skills to turn data insights into compelling business narratives.
