Senior Data Engineer – ETL, Spark, Java

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead complex data initiatives in a mission‑driven environment. You will design, build, and optimize high‑performance data pipelines that support critical systems for government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Lead data migration efforts across enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize large‑scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Write and maintain backend services and data integrations in Java.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support system modernization.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and document data solutions in secure environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Active Top Secret security clearance at time of hire.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal programs is a plus.
