Senior Creative Engineer – Motion & Design Systems

About the role

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Creative Engineer to lead digital design and creative production at scale. You will collaborate with a talented creative team to translate concepts into pixel‑perfect, high‑volume digital assets while upholding brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Creative Team to turn ideas into scalable digital assets across multiple formats and platforms.
• Design and adapt key art into pixel‑perfect assets, maintaining brand guidelines.
• Create and maintain reusable templates and design systems for high‑volume production.
• Produce motion graphics and animated assets for digital campaigns.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Creative Engineers and foster team growth.
• Document workflows, template guides, and ensure clean, organized files for future adaptations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in an advertising agency, production studio, or similar design environment.
• Proven track record in high‑volume, scalable creative production.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to understand technical limitations of digital platforms and propose creative solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (Sketch a plus).
• Experience with motion design and animation.
• Familiarity with creative automation platforms such as Celtra or Orca Plus.
• Ability to build and edit Keynote and PowerPoint presentations.
• General understanding of HTML5.
