About the role

Join a specialist trading technology firm building ultra‑low‑latency software used by financial institutions worldwide. The role is ideal for engineers who prefer working close to the metal and enjoy tackling performance‑critical challenges.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain real‑time trading applications.
Build and enhance market‑connectivity infrastructure.
Design and optimise performance‑critical, low‑latency distributed systems.
Collaborate on ultra‑low‑latency software components from scratch.

Required profile

Proven experience creating platforms, components or infrastructure from the ground up.
Passion for solving difficult technical problems.
Strong communication skills.
Unrestricted US work authorization (no sponsorship).

Required skills

Expertise in Core Java.
Deep knowledge of concurrency, threading and performance optimisation.
Experience with low‑latency distributed systems.
Familiarity with the FIX Protocol.
Background in electronic trading, market data or capital markets.
