About the role
DMI is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead the refresh of a legislative Office of the Chief Information Officer's five‑year Directional Plan and Roadmap. The consultant will manage the project from initiation through closure, delivering a strategic plan aligned with the client’s objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a detailed project work plan, tracking tasks, milestones, and resources.
- Produce weekly status reports outlining progress, risks, and upcoming activities.
- Design and facilitate stakeholder planning sessions for senior OCIO leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Create session guides, agendas, and supporting materials.
- Conduct environmental and organizational analyses, including SWOT assessments.
- Draft a Directional and Functional Analysis Report with actionable short‑, mid‑, and long‑term recommendations.
- Revise the OCIO Directional Plan with updated mission, vision, goals, and performance measures.
- Develop communication artifacts such as memoranda and presentation decks.
- Produce a five‑year roadmap visualizing priorities, success metrics, and initiative responsibilities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Extensive experience briefing senior government executives and synthesizing complex inputs into decision‑ready deliverables.
- Proven expertise in IT strategic planning, organizational performance management, and directional planning methodologies.
