Senior Consultant, Fee-Based Planning Implementation

About the role

Osaic is looking for a Senior Consultant to help advisors and their teams implement fee-based financial planning in a practical, compliant and scalable way. The role acts as a primary resource for advisor questions on policies, procedures, agreements, platforms and best practices for fee-for-advice services, and aims to increase the share of advisors offering fee-based planning. It works closely with cross-functional teams but focuses on informal learning, implementation support, self-service resources and ownership of selected rollout activities. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Support advisors in launching, managing and scaling fee-based planning services, identify high-opportunity advisor segments and support rollout plans
• Act as a go-to resource on policies, procedures, agreements, approved resources and business processing platforms
• Build and maintain self-service resources and lead informal, mostly virtual learning such as office hours, study groups and peer-sharing forums, with occasional breakout sessions at national meetings
• Partner with training and development, compliance, operations and product teams to improve the advisor experience

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in financial services, with a strong preference for financial planning consulting or other advisor-facing roles
• Strong understanding of the financial planning process, wealth management and fee-based or fee-for-advice implementation
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and respond to time-sensitive advisor needs
• Excellent advisor-facing communication and teamwork skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AI capabilities is a plus
• Preferred: knowledge of fee-based planning business models, agreements and implementation practices, and experience facilitating virtual learning sessions

What we offer

• Salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year plus an annual bonus
