Senior Construction Superintendent – Multi‑Family Projects

About the role

The firm is seeking a Lead/Senior Superintendent to oversee large‑scale, complex multifamily construction projects in Tampa. This on‑site leader will ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while acting as the primary field representative.

Key responsibilities

• Provide decisive leadership to field teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Supervise and mentor subordinate superintendents and site staff, serving as the main liaison for the Project Manager.
• Implement and enforce OSHA‑compliant safety programs, conduct daily huddles and regular audits.
• Manage the QA/QC program, oversee municipal and special inspections, and ensure work meets specifications.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, identify and resolve construction issues affecting timeline or budget.
• Coordinate trade work, logistics, and resource allocation to meet critical milestones.
• Review contract documents, manage RFIs, and oversee installation of major building systems (MEP, structural, envelope).
• Generate daily reports, progress documentation, and photographic records.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of progressive construction management experience.
• At least 5 years as Lead/Senior Superintendent on $30M+ ground‑up multifamily projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
