Senior Construction Manager – Large Industrial Complex

About the role

Blue Origin is seeking a senior leader to drive the planning and delivery of construction for a large industrial manufacturing complex in Florida. The role will oversee the full design‑build lifecycle, from master planning and permitting through construction execution and close‑out, supporting the company’s mission to enable spaceflight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of project managers and manage a portfolio of construction projects supporting manufacturing and test operations.
• Develop and maintain master and site plans, project schedules, statements of work, and CAPEX budgets.
• Oversee the RFP process, evaluate bids, and manage contracts with general contractors to ensure cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Coordinate permitting, building‑code analysis, procurement, and execution with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Monitor construction progress, cash‑flow projections, and risk mitigation to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare annual CAPEX budget and provide accurate project estimates in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large‑scale industrial construction programs, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
• Strong background in contract oversight, cost control, and schedule management.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership and external partners.
