Senior Construction Manager

About the role

Montera is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on‑site construction for its GW+ hyperscale data‑center campus in the Houston, Texas metro area. As the primary field representative, you will protect the owner’s interests while driving schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Monitor contractor performance against safety, schedule, quality, budget, and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate with general contractors, EPC firms, trade partners, OEM vendors, and internal teams to identify and mitigate project challenges.
• Lead construction planning, sequencing, logistics coordination, and work‑face readiness.
• Drive accountability for milestone achievement and overall project delivery.
• Support constructability reviews and provide input during design development and pre‑construction phases.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in large‑scale construction, preferably data‑center or hyperscale projects.
• Proven ability to lead with a “schedule first” mindset and resolve issues proactively.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across owners, contractors, design teams, and operations.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
