Senior Compensation Analyst

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and administration of its compensation programs. This role supports the Bank’s mission by ensuring competitive, equitable pay structures that attract and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compensation models, salary structures, and job evaluation systems in line with Federal Reserve System guidelines.
• Conduct market analyses and benchmarking studies to position the Bank competitively across job families and levels.
• Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including salary adjustments, promotions, and new hire offers.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on compensation trends and program effectiveness.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert to HR Business Partners and business leaders, advising on complex compensation decisions.
• Participate in compensation surveys, analyze external data, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain documentation of compensation decisions and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation, data analysis, or finance.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, federal regulations, and survey methodologies.
