Senior Community Manager – The Hartley

About the role

The Senior Community Manager for The Hartley will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of multiple residential properties, lead on‑site teams, and ensure financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input into property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue goals by setting rent rates, ensuring timely rent collection, making bank deposits and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates and code charges to the appropriate accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑family residential properties.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop on‑site teams.
• Analytical mindset with solid financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
