Senior Community Manager – Property Operations

About the role

The Senior Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of two or more assigned residential properties. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead on‑site teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant housing regulations while driving occupancy and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine property budgets by analysing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets through rent setting, timely rent collection, bank deposits and monthly financial reporting.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple multifamily properties.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other housing regulations.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with ability to analyse statements and control budgets.
• Leadership skills to supervise on‑site staff and coordinate with owners and service providers.
