Senior Community Manager / General Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Community Manager/General Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of two or more stabilized, garden‑style properties. You will lead on‑site teams, manage resources, and ensure financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input for property budgets by analyzing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Achieve targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in multi‑family property management or a similar operational role.
• Strong operational excellence, financial acumen, and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to meet budgeted financial goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Eligibility for quarterly percentage bonuses.
