Senior Civil Project Manager – Land Development

About the role

Langan is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to lead design, permitting and client management for a variety of land‑development projects in Tyler, TX. You will work cross‑functionally with senior leadership on residential, commercial, institutional and mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial, warehouse and mixed‑use projects for public and private clients.
• Develop growth plans with office leadership and ensure optimal staff utilization.
• Participate in business development by cultivating new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
• Lead site/civil efforts, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept through construction.
• Manage storm‑water design, conduct hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and prepare SWPPP documentation.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering considerations into land‑development designs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10+ years of local site/civil engineering experience focused on land development, both small and large scale.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client expectations.
