About the role

Applied Intuition is expanding its defense product ecosystem in Fort Walton Beach, FL. As a Senior C++ Software Engineer you will join the A2 team to design and build the core backend systems that power multi‑domain autonomous operations for defense customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance C++ backend infrastructure for the Axion and Acuity platforms.
• Architect scalable, reliable systems that operate in contested and degraded environments.
• Collaborate with autonomy researchers, product managers, and defense stakeholders to translate mission requirements into robust software.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of critical engineering workstreams, from architecture through deployment.
