Senior Buyer – Procurement of Complex RF & PCB Commodities

About the role

The Senior Buyer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for technically complex RF and printed‑circuit‑board (PCB) commodities, preparing RFQs, negotiating quotes and securing purchases that meet quality, quantity and specification requirements at the best possible price.

Key responsibilities

• Process assigned requisitions, select suppliers and obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations.
• Develop source and price justifications and initiate procurement actions within delegated authority.
• Prepare data for purchase order generation and expedite orders when required.
• Identify and develop new sources of supply, maintain source files and stay informed on new products and design trends.
• Support other buyers with technical and practical purchasing knowledge.
• Attend meetings, provide technical input and perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7‑10 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of FAR and ITAR regulations.
• Experience working in an MRP environment; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
