Senior BA/PM VP - Prime Front Office Risk & PnL

About the role

Barclays is hiring a Senior BA/PM VP for its Liquid Financing Technology team in Whippany, NJ, to lead business analysis and delivery of strategic programs across the Prime Front Office Risk & P&L cross-asset domain (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and others). The role sits on the build-out of a modern, cross-asset Client Risk Management platform delivering real-time analytics, AI-enabled workflows and reporting for Front Office users, covering intraday exposure monitoring, scenario analysis, stress testing and decision-support tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and delivery of strategic programs across the Prime Front Office Risk & P&L domain, partnering with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Finance and Technology stakeholders.
• Drive requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, oversee execution and align with regulatory, control and architectural standards.
• Document business requirements, process flows, data mappings and use cases.
• Manage large programs, translate strategy and roadmap into project plans, and develop governance packs for stakeholder progress updates.
• Work with Architecture and Engineering teams to turn business needs into scalable solutions.
• As a Vice President, set strategy, plan resources, budgets and policies, advise senior management, and manage risk and controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior BA/PM in a front office environment across one or more asset classes (Equities, Rates, Credit).
• Experience capturing end-to-end business and functional requirements with senior desk and technology stakeholders.
• Experience managing large programs and building governance packs.
• Highly valued: prior Prime Services experience (Financing, Margin, Risk, P&L/Balance Sheet), reference data systems, risk models (VaR, Stress, Greeks), and AWS/Snowflake/Databricks familiarity.

Required skills

• Data analysis with Excel, BI dashboards or SQL/Python.
• Analytical, documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

What we offer

• Base salary of $155,000 to $225,000.
