About the role

The Senior Assistant Manager supports the Site Lead in delivering five‑star guest experiences across High West venues. You will lead front‑of‑house teams, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the Nelson’s Green Brier culture while turning guests into loyal ambassadors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty, representing the NGB mission and delivering a five‑star experience.
• Hire, train, and retain top‑performing front‑of‑house staff.
• Provide floor leadership for restaurant service and events, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coach staff, build skills, and deliver constructive feedback.
• Manage workgroups supporting hospitality, restaurant, and event operations.
• Execute delegated operational tasks promptly and efficiently.
• Lead pre‑service execution and support policy implementation.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and SOPs.
• Participate in operational meetings, strategy sessions, and seasonal menu launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of guest‑facing floor management or lead experience in a restaurant or bar.
• Proven ability to exceed guest expectations and lead teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work varied hours based on guest demand and events.
