Senior Applied ML Scientist

About the role

Senior Applied ML Scientist at SentiLink, building core fraud detection models and expanding financial risk products. The role combines research, product development, and production‑ready code in a fast‑moving, data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, productionalize and monitor fraud detection models from data acquisition through feature engineering, training and deployment.
• Research emerging fraud types and create new identity‑verification and risk products.
• Write production‑grade Python code that powers real‑time decision making for partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations and data acquisition teams to ensure data quality and access.
• Design and present analyses that guide product strategy, sales and marketing efforts.

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant experience with a PhD (or 6+ years with a Master’s) in a quantitative field.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end data‑science solutions to high‑impact business problems.
• Strong communication skills for presenting results to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment.
