Senior Analyst - Store Expense Management

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Analyst in Store Expense Management. The role manages strategic vendor relationships, maintains and improves store processes through operational and expense control solutions, and monitors financial performance across store expense categories. It leads small to medium-sized parts of larger projects and initiatives, and requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure operational excellence
• Maintain controls that support store execution and financial accountability
• Lead project teams of analysts and other associates, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation
• Gather data, synthesize findings, develop solutions, plan projects and strategies, and use data to inform decisions
• Produce documents for teams and leadership, and deliver presentations to teams, executives and sponsors
• Develop knowledge of self, the team and customers (internal)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older, legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred
• 5 years of work experience preferred
• Reports to a Store Operations Process Manager, Store Operations Business Manager or Sr. Manager; typically involves leading a work group, assigning and reviewing work, training and contributing to performance appraisals (no hiring, firing or disciplinary authority)
• Travel of less than 10% overnight; mostly sitting work in an indoor setting
