Senior Analyst, Risk Management

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Risk Management joins Mastercard’s Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) Center of Excellence within the Global Supply Chain organization. You will lead intake and baseline risk assessments of third‑party vendors, ensuring compliance with Mastercard standards and helping the business understand and mitigate associated risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform intake functions, scope engagements, segment suppliers, and initiate risk assessments.
• Collaborate with requestors, Sourcing, Legal, SMEs, and TPRM team members to capture engagement details and inherent risks.
• Conduct risk‑based assessments focused on data privacy, information security, and resilience, documenting findings and recommended controls.
• Align risk assessment insights with third‑party contractual negotiations and escalate key risks to internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate new or modified third‑party engagements, prioritize and segment based on risk factors.
• Ensure assessments meet program requirements, quality standards, and are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong risk‑based mindset with ability to identify critical concerns and communicate findings.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and processes, preferably in financial services or payment processing.
• Understanding of complex data systems and data‑driven technologies.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool for navigation, updating, and reporting.
