Senior Aircraft Avionics Technician – Retrofit

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Senior Aircraft Avionics Technician to join its Retrofit team in Columbus, Mississippi. You will work on the assembly, installation, repair and replacement of aircraft electrical and electronic components for new production, maintenance and refurbishment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of avionics and electrical systems on helicopters.
• Execute functional checks and verify compliance with blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals.
• Coordinate with the lead technician to manage schedules, parts availability and tool requirements.
• Document work performed and ensure all completed tasks meet quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in aircraft avionics or electrical systems maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and service manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
