Senior Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will maintain financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, support payroll and procurement, and assist with audits. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will own core accounting workstreams and help evolve finance practices as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end close by preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, and meeting deadlines.
• Assist annual financial, tax, and workers‑comp audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Execute full‑cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, and payroll.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and control.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, RevOps and other teams to resolve accounting inquiries.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and reporting to drive revenue and cost efficiencies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment with shifting priorities.
• Based in San Francisco and able to work onsite five days a week.
