Senior Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Nature’s Bakery you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with US GAAP, and support month‑end close and internal control processes. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborate across functions, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
• Settle intercompany receivables and payables each month.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets.
• Perform complex bank and account reconciliations.
• Oversee Concur review and approvals, monthly billing and accruals.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably S4Hana.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
