Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast‑growing finance team. You will own key parts of the accounting cycle across multiple entities and work closely with senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives such as a NetSuite implementation and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close entries, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses and management reporting packages.
• Record payroll journal entries and support multi‑entity payroll compliance.
• Maintain cash forecasts and record weekly cash activity in NetSuite.
• Support the annual external audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Ensure strong internal controls across all entities and keep documentation audit‑ready.
• Cross‑train and serve as backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Lead and participate in special projects, including NetSuite implementation and workflow automation.
• Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams on financial analysis and decision support.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, close timelines and reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience applying accounting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP platform.
• Experience supporting annual external audits.
• Proven ability to improve processes and drive automation.
• High‑ownership mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Clear, professional communication across all levels of the organization.
