Senior Accountant

About the role

Sayari is seeking a decisive and highly organized Senior Accountant to join its fast‑paced finance team. This hands‑on position will dive deep into the general ledger, support month‑end close, and ensure audit readiness while leveraging modern AI tools to drive efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with accounting and finance teams to keep daily workflows smooth and proactive.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, verify general‑ledger balances, and investigate variances during month‑end close.
• Support accounts payable and revenue accounting processes, ensuring data accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review PBC lists and supporting schedules for statutory audits, delivering audit‑ready documentation.
• Post journal entries, manage intercompany activity, and review key financial metrics.
• Own and optimize workflows in NetSuite, Avalara, Carta, Google Workspace, Rippling, and AI tools such as Claude.

Required profile

• 4+ years of core accounting experience, preferably from an accounting firm or corporate finance environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean, fast‑growing organization.
