Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our corporate office in North Houston. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, managing full‑cycle close processes and supporting financial forecasting and reporting for a growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all project and non‑project costs are accurately recorded and coded to support margin and overhead analysis.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities.
• Communicate with fuel suppliers and internal departments to obtain invoices and documentation.
• Track and allocate fuel, equipment, mileage, and labor costs.
• Process accruals for fuel, freight, labor, and miscellaneous expenses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis by project.
• Liaise with operations teams and project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with full‑cycle close and general ledger functions.
