Senior Accountant

About the role

ETAP is seeking a diligent Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Irvine, CA. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will play a key part in the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes while supporting the company’s financial compliance and reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, including variance analysis.
• Support compliance with global accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare related schedules.
• Own intercompany transaction reconciliations across entities.
• Prepare cash‑flow, working‑capital, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Consolidate balance‑sheet accounts and budget‑to‑actual reports for analysis.
• Maintain statutory books and governance for selected legal entities.
• Serve as liaison between departments to resolve administrative issues.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and mailing.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.

Required skills

• Sage 100.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
