Senior Accountant & Full‑Charge Controller (Remote)

About the role

Retrouvai, a globally recognized luxury fine‑jewelry brand, is seeking a Senior Accountant / Controller to own the entire accounting function on a fully remote basis. You will work directly with the founders, providing clean, accurate books and strategic financial insight for a fast‑growing, design‑driven company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks Online and record all transactions accurately.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and manage full‑cycle AP and AR.
• Own the monthly close process and prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Deliver a concise monthly reporting package and explain key financial trends.
• Process payroll through QuickBooks Online / Gusto and ensure timely tax filings.
• Maintain inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, tracking COGS and gross margins.
• Establish scalable accounting processes, improve workflows, and introduce automation where appropriate.
• Coordinate with an external CPA for year‑end tax filings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or full‑charge bookkeeping experience.
• Proven ability to manage the full monthly close independently.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience working as the sole or primary accountant for a company.
