Senior Accountant – Consumer Packaged Goods

About the role

Beast Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) businesses, including Feastables. The role focuses on GAAP‑compliant reporting, inventory accounting, and ensuring accurate financial operations as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile key balance‑sheet accounts such as inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Assist with cost accounting and inventory valuation to ensure accurate cost of goods sold.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, identify variances, and provide insights for business decisions.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to align financial reporting with production activities.
• Provide support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger as needed.
• Assist with audit preparation and supply documentation for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented accountant with strong experience in CPG or consumer product environments.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver comfortable working cross‑functionally.
• Proven ability to manage complex inventory and cost accounting processes.
