Senior Accountant – Consumer Packaged Goods

About the role

Beast Industries is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the accounting operations of its CPG businesses, including Feastables. The role focuses on GAAP‑compliant reporting, inventory accounting, and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations as the organization scales.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile key balance‑sheet accounts such as inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Assist with cost accounting and inventory valuation to ensure accurate cost of goods sold.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances and support business decisions.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to align financial reporting of inventory and production activities.
• Provide support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger as needed.
• Assist with audit preparation and supply documentation for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and reporting workflows.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented accountant with strong experience in consumer packaged goods.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver comfortable working in a fast‑growing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple close cycles and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective collaborator with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with inventory and cost of goods sold accounting.
