Security Officer / Relief Supervisor – Graveyard Shift

About the role

Join the Makena Beach & Golf Club security team as a full‑time Security Officer/Relief Supervisor on the graveyard shift. You will provide a concierge‑style security presence for members, guests and staff while safeguarding people, facilities and property.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a personalized security approach and deliver superior customer service.
• Secure assets, respond to emergencies, and provide minor medical assistance as needed.
• Control access using company‑provided access‑control systems, logs and lists, and deny unauthorized entry.
• Identify and report safety hazards, security vulnerabilities and conduct regular field audits.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation and respond to Director of Security requests within four hours.

Required profile

• Valid Hawaii Guard Card.
• Respect for Hawaiian culture and values.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Prior customer‑service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with access‑control systems.
