About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Security Officer to join its Police Department on the night shift. This position provides essential safety and security services across the campus, supporting a collaborative health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Patrol assigned areas, monitor security equipment, and respond to incidents.
• Enforce university policies and applicable laws.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with law‑enforcement as needed.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work night‑shift hours as required by the Police Department.
